RESEARCH-DRIVEN PRODUCT DESIGNER
I'm a writer, journalist, and now a UX designer working to further my career in the design space.
I've always been fascinated with immersing in people's stories. It means I get to delve into their personal experience and journey through their highs and lows. To me, a successful product is not about impeccable design but the product's ability change people's lives.

How I got started in user research
As much as I enjoy writing, the world is converging into the digital spectrum. I see an overflow of digital content but the digital space is still young when it comes to creating a user-centric experience. As a journalist, I have spent hours researching, interviewing, and observing people.
Transferring those skills into user research was natural to me. It gives me the opportunity to understand people and build empathy to bridge the gap between complex human needs and sustainable user experience. In my work, I am able to dive deeper into an array of methodologies and use it to extract substantial information for the design process.
What I've been working on
I play different roles in each project from project lead, UX/UI designer, consultant and team player.
I'm currently designing a user-centric desktop and mobile app for a technology services company providing compliant SaaS solutions.
What I'm curious about
My goal as a designer is to explore ways to refine and enhance user experience and create products that work. I want to learn more about people's psychology and behavior when interacting with digital products, and learn how to bridge the gap between design and experience.
